Thanks to Vodafone call forwarding you can redirect your calls from one phone to another. You can configure that any call is transferred or only some in certain conditions. By activating this function, when your phone number is called, the other device you have programmed will ring.

When configuring call diversion you can do it:

  • From landline to landline.
  • From landline to mobile.
  • From mobile to landline.
  • From mobile phone to mobile.

If there is no possibility to answer the calls, the answering machine message is saved directly on your device. You may need SIM card data such as ICC in some cases.

What types of call forwarding are there?

El operation of call forwarding that Vodafone proposes has different characteristics. Depending on what the user needs, you can configure different actions for your calls:

  • Forwarding all calls to a predetermined number.
  • Vodafone call forwarding when we are communicating (it's busy). In this case, those calls that your mobile phone receives while it is in use are diverted.

How is the Vodafone call forwarding function activated?

To activate each of the Vodafone call forwarding modalities we have to enter a code from the phone. The process changes depending on the type of diversion that the user needs:

  • Activate forwarding for all calls: **21* -phone number for forwarding-# and press the call key.
  • Activate forwarding for calls if you are busy: **67* -telephone number for forwarding-# and press the call key.
  • Activate Vodafone call forwarding for mobile off or without signal: **62* -telephone number for forwarding-# and press the call key.
  • Activate call forwarding when we do not answer: **61* -telephone number for forwarding-# and press the call key.

For the call forwarding service to work correctly we have to enter the USSD code from the line to be forwarded. The Vodafone SIM card must be inserted in the device and working correctly.

Once the configuration is done correctly, the user can check its operation entering the code *#21# and pressing the call button. The forwarding number changes depending on the service we have configured.

How to deactivate call forwarding

If you have already used the service and want restore normal settings, Vodafone call forwarding is disabled very easily. All we need is to enter one of the following codes, according to the service you have activated:

  • ##67# and the call key for forwarding busy calls.
  • ##62# and the call key for cases without coverage or mobile switched off.
  • ##61# and the call key for when we don't answer.

Call forwarding from landline to Vodafone

To activate the Vodafone landline call forwarding to another number, be it landline or mobile, you have to enter the My Vodafone customer area. There we select the following steps:

  • Choose the Fixed service.
  • Go to Line Settings – Call Options.

There you can choose between forwarding if the call is busy, when it is not answered or if it is not picked up. In any case, the number where the call will ring is chosen and in this way it is sought to avoid losing any call. The service is completely free and allows you to configure different mobiles or landlines with a Vodafone line.
