Fortnite, along with PUBG, are the most veteran games of the battle royale genre that reached mobile devices, games that are also available for consoles and PCs. While PUBG Mobile has very low requirements and works on practically any smartphone or tablet, the same does not happen with Fortnite.
The requirements to be able to enjoy Fortnite in conditions are quite high, some requirements that we must meet if we want to install Fortnite from the official Epic Games page, although fortunately, it is not the only method. If you want to know how to install Fortnite on an unsupported smartphone I invite you to keep reading.
Fortnite is not available on the Play Store

The first thing we should know is that Fortnite is not available through the Play Store, although it was in the past. When Epic Games, creator of Fortnite, included a payment gateway in the mobile version that skipped both the Play Store and Apple's App Store, both Google and Apple removed it from their respective app stores.
While on Android we have no problem to continue enjoying this title, it is not so on iOS, where due to Apple restrictions, you cannot install any application that is not available in the App Store, although it is likely that it will change in the future due to Epic's lawsuit against Apple in which it accuses the latter of a monopoly in the App Store.
Although Fortnite is not available on the Play Store, the application is still available through the Epic website, previously installing the installer that it makes available to us.
Once the installer is installed (previously we have to enable the Unknown sources option) it is in charge of checking if our smartphone meets the minimum requirements required by the game.
Minimum requirements of Fortnite on Android

The minimum requirements for Fortnite for Android are:
- 64-bit processor (it will never work on a 32 bit processor).
- Android 8.0 or later. This is one of the main limitations, since many smartphones have enough power but they stayed on Android 7.0
- 4 GB of RAM. The more memory the better, but the minimum advisable for this title to work relatively fluently is this.
- Graph Adreno 530 minimum, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or later.
Except the first requirement, 64-bit processor, the rest we can skip and install them Fortnite on our smartphone, although we do not expect the performance to be the best, for something the company has established a series of minimum requirements, in order to offer an experience fluid enough to be able to enjoy this title.
Install Fortnite from the Epic installer

The first thing to do is download the installer available on the Epic Games Store through this link from the phone itself or by scanning the QR code shown on that website from the smartphone.
Previously, we must have activated the Unknown sources option from the Android configuration options. This option allows install apps from any source, not only from the Play Store. We could say that it is a barrier for Google to protect the safety of its users, a barrier that cannot be bypassed on iOS in any way.

Once we have installed the application, we have the option to Install Fortnite and Battle Breakers. We select Fortnite and then the installer for this game will be downloaded. Once installed, this will check if our smartphone is compatible with this title.
If not, it will show us a warning message, informing us that the performance of the game may leave much to be desired. By clicking on Ok, the game it will begin to install without problems on the device.
This process it will take about an hour, since it requires downloading the game that occupies about 8 GB and carrying out a process of checking the equipment to adapt the performance to the equipment.
Install Fortnite from ApkPure

If when clicking on Ok using the previous method, it does not remove from the application, we must resort to another method to be able to install Fortnite on a compatible smartphone. To do this, we are going to do using ApkPure repository, a repository reliable enough that it will not jeopardize the security of the data stored on our smartphone.
The first thing we must do is visit the ApkPure website and download the installer, since through the website we can only access the available content, not install applications on our smartphone.
Once we have downloaded the application, when installing it, we only have to give it permission to storage, the only real requirement that the application needs to download and install any game or application available on this platform.
Next, we must use the search box and enter the term Fortnite. Next, it will show us all the results that match the search: Fortnite y the Fornite installer that we can download from the Epic website.
Must click on the first result and select Install. This process, as if we do it directly from the official Epic application, can take approximately an hour, since once installed, the game is responsible for optimizing the content to the device, that is, applying a configuration as low as possible. possible so that it can be played without serious performance issues on the non-officially supported smartphone.
We must bear in mind that Epic Games updates the game every week adding new content, so if once we have installed the title and it invites us to download a new version, we must wait until the guys at ApkPure have the new version available.
Is it worth installing Fortnite on an unsupported smartphone?

Once the game is installed, when I run it for the first time I have verified that it is the officially unsupported smartphone where I have tested it, it works really bad, so bad, that the game itself has expelled me from the game due to the high lag.
The game is automatically configured according to the power of the processor, RAM and graphics setting all the lowest possible values. However, it is still not enough for the game to run smoothly enough.
