For some time now we have had a tool on Instagram called Notes that allows us to place a status in text form on our profile to be able to express ourselves in another way within the platform. This function comes loaded with the new Instagram Notes. The platform has just enabled the new Notes that can be placed in any publication that we see on the platform. We are going to show you how these new Instagram Notes work and how to use them.
What are the new Instagram Notes and how do they work?
To find the new Notes, we must locate ourselves in context, that is, enter our Instagram app. Once we are inside the platform, we must look for a publication from an account that we follow. The function is used to any Instagram feed post, so enter without fear to understand what we are talking about.
Below the publication we find the heart icons to like, the comment balloon and the arrow or paper plane that is for share the publication. We are going to click on this last icon, the arrow, so that our contacts to whom we want to send this publication appear.
Below the contacts you will see several icons, including copy link, share, WhatsApp and add to story. The one that interests us, the Add note, is located on the lower left side of the screen. This is the new tool we are talking about so that we can add notes to Instagram posts in general, that of others or their own.
How to add a note to a post?
Let's click on this button Add notoh write some short text or place an emoji. Our profile photo appears and a floating bubble above it, simulating our thoughts.
We fill this bubble with our note and then click on the share button that appears below. We can choose to share with all our followers or only with our best friends.
After placing the note, it will appear on the lower left side of the publication, with our profile photo and note included. This note will not be visible to everyone, only people who follow us will be able to see it, so don't worry. We will also not be able to see the notes that other users have placed in the same publication, unless they are users who follow us on Instagram.
