This is a list of the main advantages:
- Extra storage. This is especially interesting for streamers. As a general rule, when making a live broadcast, Twitch allows you to store the videos for 14 days. This time is increased to 60 days with Prime.

And that will depend fundamentally on one thing: if we are already subscribed to Amazon Prime or not.. Let's see what the price is and how to proceed in both cases:
If we are already Amazon Prime users
The first step is to link our Amazon and Twitch accounts. This is how to do it:
- Let's go to the site of Prime gaming and log in to our Amazon account.
- From there we choose the option "Your Twitch Accounts".
In the displayed options will appear the one of "Connect a Twitch account". We click on it. - Next, we log in to Twitch. A message is displayed asking us to link both accounts by clicking on "Confirm".
Now that we've successfully linked our Twitch and Amazon accounts, we're ready to activate Prime Gaming subscription. These are the steps to follow:
- Again we go to the Prime Gaming website.
- Now a blue box appears in the center of the screen where the option to “Activate Prime Gaming”. If it does not appear on the screen, you have to look for it in the menu (the three vertical lines in the upper left corner).
- After pressing this button, a new confirmation screen opens. In it you have to fill in some fields, such as the country in which we are, and then press "Continue".
After doing this, we will already be members of Prime Gaming (formerly Prime Twitch) without having to pay anything.
If we are not yet Amazon Prime users
In this case there is no choice but to subscribe to Amazon Prime. There is the possibility of trying this service for free (which includes many other advantages) for one month and linking it as explained in the previous section. After this period, we can decide if we want to continue or not.
After the trial period, Amazon Prime It only costs 3 euros per month (36 euros per year). Keep in mind that access to Prime Gaming is just one of the long list of advantages that this service offers us.
